LeadingRE Associate Broker Melissa Fryzel is a resourceful, “out of the box” critical thinker known for her strong work ethic, her problem solving skills, and her ability to listen to client objectives. She puts these skills to work to effectively to communicate and negotiate with Buyers and Sellers involved in her real estate transactions. Understanding that real estate transactions are a team sport, Melissa is motivated by her desire to contribute to team success.
Melissa brings over twenty years’ experience in corporate data analysis and international trade logistics for private sector companies including Caterpillar, Samsung, Aviall and McKesson. She recognizes that her history of detail oriented project management, strong written communication skills, and familiarity with federal statutes and regulations make her a better real estate broker.
Melissa’s community involvement includes Heart of Taos women’s homeless center and Music From Angel Fire annual festival. Previously, she has volunteered for Meals on Wheels. Having migrated to Northern New Mexico from Texas, Melissa, her husband and five children purchased property in Taos Canyon, midway between Taos and Angel Fire in pursuit of the serenity of a mountain lifestyle and a desire to tear their children away from technology to instill a love of nature.
Raised in Ft. Worth, Texas, Melissa earned a Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society and afterward a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Psychology from University of Texas Permian Basin. Someone who embraces change and loves to learn, Melissa shares her home with cats Salem and Lilly, German Shepherds Doggo, and a female puppy on the way. When she’s not making real estate dreams come true, Melissa may be found hiking, gardening, rock hounding, writing, cooking for her family and enjoying all genres of music.
