We value the extraordinarily beautiful and spiritual environment of Taos, its inclusive relationship of cultures, and the natural impulse to artistic creativity exhibited by its people. The Taos Center for the Arts exists to exercise both leadership and stewardship in keeping art central to the cultural and economic lives of Taoseños and enhancing Taos as a special place to live and visit. To do so, we will create and maintain the finest small arts center for the arts in America in the center of Taos. People everywhere will say: "Taos has cultural riches you can't find anywhere else."
